# How to activate and use remittances with Kydemy

## We explain how to configure payment remittances to facilitate the process with the bank.

It's very simple; just follow these steps:

**Step 1.** The first thing you need to do is activate this option on your platform by going to the top right and clicking on Configuration.

**Step 2.** Enter the Students tab, and you will see the Student Fields section.

In the Bank Accounts Storage option, open the dropdown and choose the option you use in your school.

**Step 3.** When you activate the bank accounts for the first time, it will ask you for a password that will protect your students' banking information. It is very important not to forget the password you choose because it cannot be recovered!

**Step 4.** Make sure that all students who pay via remittances have their bank account information in their student profile, and... you're all set!
