# Modify sound/audio preferences in the browser

## We explain how to re-enable the microphone or camera option in different browsers if we have disabled it for any reason.


## CHROME
In the address bar of the browser, there is a lock icon on the left. Click on it, and you will be able to select the options you want from the dropdown.
If you click on **Allow** for both the camera and the microphone, it will remain enabled for future sessions.

## FIREFOX
Click on the lock icon at the top left of the web address to open the options. Click on the X to remove the block. You will need to refresh the page using the circular arrow.

## EDGE

It's the same as in Chrome; you need to click on the lock icon and select **Allow** from the available options in the dropdown.

## SAFARI

In Safari, you need to **double-click on the lock icon** and select **Settings for this website**:

Then, this dropdown will appear to select the Camera and Microphone permissions. Select **Allow**:
