New Kydemy version: minimum requirements for optimal performance

As of June 11, Kydemy has launched an improved version of its platform for schools and academies.

Among the main benefits of this update are a better user experience, enhanced security, and a smoother system response.

However, to fully take advantage of this new version of Kydemy, certain minimum software requirements will be necessary to ensure optimal performance.

Below, we detail these requirements so that you can review and apply the necessary changes in your schools.

Latest browser versions

To make the most of the latest web technologies, Kydemy requires the use of the latest versions of the most popular browsers. We officially support the following browsers and versions:

• Chrome 137+
• Firefox 140+
• Safari 18.4+
• Edge 137+

The browser version is a limiting factor not only for the optimal and correct use of the new Kydemy platform but also for safeguarding your information and ensuring the proper functioning of other cloud-based applications and software.

It is very important that your computer’s operating system allows you to install one of the browsers and versions listed above.

Keep your operating system updated

Please note that it is not only essential to have the latest version of your browser, but it is also advisable to keep your computer’s operating system as up to date as possible.

As of June 26, 2025, the minimum versions currently supported by operating system manufacturers are:

  • 11
• macOS: 13+
• iOS: 15.8.4+
• Android: 13+
• Linux: Any distribution that receives browser updates.

💡 Important:

While we strongly recommend updating all systems and browsers to their latest versions, the new Kydemy platform remains compatible with the previous versions of the supported operating systems and browsers listed above.

Hardware requirements: devices, memory and processor

It’s not just software considerations (browsers, operating systems, etc.) that matter—hardware also plays a key role.

To ensure optimal performance across all aspects of your school’s operations—not just when using the Kydemy platform—it is ideal that your computers meet at least the following specifications:

• A processor with at least 4 cores
• At least 8GB of RAM
